Save time by using the Smart Cable Connector tool in Unreal Engine to connect your power lines/poles in seconds. It takes a lot of time to place power lines by hand or adjust them with static meshes in the level design. This tool will create all the cables between each power pole for you in seconds, automatically. This tool reduces your level design effort enormously and is a small “must-have” tool. Check it out in the Unreal Engine Marketplace.

How do I use the Smart Cable Connector?
Once you have purchased the tool, you can download it and add it to your Unreal project. Then look for a folder called “Smart Cable Connector“. In this folder there is a blueprint folder, in this folder you will find the file “BP_CableConnector”. Drag this file into your level and you have it. Now you can start to “pull” your power lines. For more information you can always read the documentation. In it you will find an overview of all functions.
